As I'm sure many of you are wondering, the blog's mascots, Galen and Quirin, are both alive and well in their world, Masconia. Both are quite old now, and their bright colours have faded a bit, but they are still the same Norns as they have always been!
Despite being elderly, the two Norns have fathered many children. I already uploaded some of these to the Creatures Repository a while ago, but there are still plenty of more hatching out! Sadly some of them suffer from Galen's limping mutation, but they are otherwise healthy and devoid of any harmful mutations.
In case anyone doesn't know, Galen and Quirin were bred by sam999 and Jessica, the winners of the 2011 DS Galaxy mascot contest. I created a special page of fan art for each of the contestants which I believe can be found on Jessica's blog, Discover Albia. Thank you again for providing me with such excellent mascots!
Great to see these two doing so well! I still remember having a wolfing run solely for Astro Norns and hoping that something good would come from it. Quirin looks like a very happy fellow!
